Job Description

We’ve expanded our product suite to better serve our clients, and our journey continues with exciting technology initiatives to scale efficiently and deliver exceptional client service. As we grow, we need a Wealth Manager based in Leeds who will maintain existing client relationships, identify new opportunities, and deliver net revenue growth by meeting team and individual net sales targets.

What will you do?
  • Manage a predominantly financial‑planning client base, developing and maintaining existing client relationships and increasing business through new client acquisition.
  • Conduct successful conversations with clients and prospects, gaining deep understanding of their financial and personal goals.
  • Operate with a growth mindset and contribute to achieving the branch business plan.
  • Network proactively to create opportunities with current, new, and potential clients, and support business‑development events.
  • Clearly articulate the full breadth of the RBC proposition—investment, lending, cash, and trust solutions—to clients and prospects, working with the broader wealth‑management team to introduce the right specialists and enhance client experience.
  • Ensure clients are referred internally to the appropriate specialist where needed.
  • Take clients through as much of the advice journey as possible before involving other specialist colleagues.
What do you need to succeed? Must‑have
  • At least Level 4 CII; preference for Level 6 or working towards it.
  • Demonstrable experience in a wealth‑management/wealth‑planning role with deep knowledge of complex wealth advice areas.
  • Proven relationship‑management skills, with the ability to understand client needs, articulate solutions, and earn trust.
  • Knowledge of business sectors, current developments, market trends, and financial products and services to effectively communicate with clients.
