Financial Accountant Manufacturing Permanent - South East Leeds

A market-leading manufacturer with a strong UK and European presence. Their UK site is a centre of excellence for R&D and innovation, supporting global operations.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Accountant to play a key role in statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financial controls within a collaborative and high-performing finance team.
What You'll Be Doing:

• Preparing statutory accounts and supporting the external audit process
• Assisting with tax compliance, including VAT returns and liaison with external advisors
• Managing month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset accounting
• Supporting internal control testing and contributing to group reporting requirements
• Collaborating with the wider finance team to drive continuous improvement in reporting and compliance

What We're Looking For:

• ACA/ ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
• Solid technical knowledge of financial reporting, tax, and audit processes
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and organised with strong communication skills
• Experience in a manufacturing or product-based environment is advantageous.
• Must have the right to work in the UK without restrictions or sponsorship
