We are currently recruiting for a Town Planning consultant to join a well-established team based in Leeds. This is a great opportunity for a planning professional to develop their skills and experience within a consultancy environment, working alongside a team of experienced planners.

The successful candidate will have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, including supporting the local plan process and preparing planning applications for residential developments. You ll gain exposure to a variety of challenging sites, from brownfield to green belt land.

• Advising clients on land and building development potential
• Assisting in the preparation of planning applications and appeals
• Providing policy advice and conducting research
• Collaborating with senior team members, clients, and other consultants

• Previous experience in a planning role (local government, consultancy, or development experience is ideal)
• A relevant planning qualification
• RTPI membership (or working towards it)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, team-focused approach with the ability to manage your workload effectively
