UX Designer

Role:

UX Designer (titled internally as UX Engineer)

Up to £60,000 + benefits

• Design intuitive, user-focused web application interfaces used in professional environments.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver simple, consistent design solutions for complex data‑heavy workflows.
• Contribute to and evolve an internal design system and component library.
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design practices across multiple projects.
• Engage directly with internal stakeholders to translate user needs into functional, visually refined designs.

• A strong, well‑structured portfolio showcasing interaction design, accessibility, and UI craft.
• Experience working in multi‑project or professional/regulated environments such as law, finance, or healthcare.
• Fluency in Figma (or similar tools) and confidence collaborating with developers.
• Solid grasp of UX principles, component‑based design, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Bonus:
  Hands‑on experience/understanding of HTML, CSS, or front‑end frameworks to communicate effectively with engineers.

• Be part of a close‑knit, engineering‑led team where design is valued.
• Flexible hybrid model based in Leeds (around 2–3 days a week in office).
• Work on products with meaningful business impact and long‑term visibility.

• 30‑minute informal chat on Teams focusing on fit and communication.
• Technical deep dive and portfolio discussion with the UX Engineer and a developer.
