Mechanical-Electrical Estimating Technical Support Specialist

Trimble Inc. is seeking a Mechanical‑Electrical Estimating Technical Support Specialist to support our MEP Estimating software across the construction and infrastructure sector. The role will involve providing expert support to clients via live chat, phone or email ticketing, and working closely with our development team to resolve complex software issues.

United Kingdom – Milton Keynes or Leeds – 4 days in office.

• Develop and maintain high‑level knowledge of MEP software products, staying current on product updates.
• Answer incoming support calls courteously and within defined response times.
• Provide problem‑solving service to customers using our Estimating software packages.
• Complete customer support tickets and defect tickets in the CRM database.
• Assist in root‑cause analysis and resolution of customer defects to meet company procedures.
• Provide technical support to the Sales Team and other support staff.
• Help maintain and document defect and enhancement lists.
• Test new software versions and assist with user documentation production.
• Collaborate with development to meet project goals.

• Experience in a customer service or technical support role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and quick learning of new software tools.
• Experience in estimating, purchasing or contract management in construction is an advantage.
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent problem‑solving and customer‑service orientation.
• Accuracy, thoroughness, and data presentation skills.
• Well‑organised, self‑directed team player who embraces new ideas.
