Data Analyst – Modern Workplace (Leeds – Hybrid, 6‑month contract)

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in interpreting complex data and managing the efficient and effective production of high‑quality information, analysis, and research. Your insights will help anticipate and meet stakeholder needs.

• Perform standard data management tasks using established procedures.
• Conduct deep dives and extract data from numerous structured and unstructured sources to support insights and recommendations.
• Review, interpret and challenge data to generate understanding of key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Work within feature teams to build data sets and deliver answers to key commercial questions.
• Produce high‑quality reports, dashboards and visualisations to support decision‑making.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and security in all analyses and reports.

• Curious about research and design, eager to make a difference for colleagues, and passionate about learning.
• Passionate about data/insight and storytelling, with an aptitude for solving problems through data.
• Strong communication skills: influencing and working effectively with technical and non‑technical audiences, asking intelligent questions and producing intuitive visuals to tell a story.
• Creative imagination, actively encouraging and applying innovative agile approaches.

• Low‑code Power
  
  BI and/or Tableau skills.
• Strong data visualisation capability, able to choose the right method of communicating findings for the audience.
• Proficiency in SQL and other scripting languages such as Python.
• Evidence of seeking new data sources and demonstrating innovative approaches to data manipulation within a larger context.
