SAP S​/HANA Solution Architect

Our client, a leading global technology consultancy, is continuing to expand its SAP practice across the UK and Europe. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SC Cleared SAP S / 4

HANA Solution Architect to join a growing team and play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale SAP transformation programmes across multiple industries.

• Location :
  Hybrid with occasional on-site work may be required depending on client engagements across the UK.

The role requires deep cross-functional SAP expertise, strong architecture leadership, and the ability to engage across the full lifecycle of SAP programmes—from early-stage pre-sales and solution shaping through to assurance. The ideal candidate will be confident working with senior stakeholders, defining end-to-end SAP landscapes, and ensuring alignment with business goals, technology standards, and SAP best practices.

Additionally, experience spanning Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Cloud extensions (BTP) is highly advantageous. Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks, S / 4

HANA design, and SAP Activate will further strengthen your profile.

• Defining end-to-end solution architecture across SAP domains including Finance (FI / CO), Logistics (MM / SD), Manufacturing (PP / QM), and Procurement (Ariba / PP).
• Leading architecture design for S / 4
  
  HANA Greenfield, Brownfield, and Selective Data Transition programmes.
• Translating business goals into SAP-aligned solutions, process models, integration maps, and deployment strategies.
• Working closely with functional, technical, data, and integration teams to ensure cohesive and traceable solution delivery.
• Supporting pre-sales activities, including solutioning, RFP / RFI responses, proposal shaping, demos, and estimation.
• Advising client‑side architects, programme leads, and SI partners on SAP roadmaps, solution assurance, and governance.
• Driving adoption of innovations including SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, Embedded Analytics, and Cloud Integration.
• Providing solution governance through design reviews, change control, and alignment to delivery standards.
• Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to internal accelerators, templates, and best‑practice assets.
• Staying current with SAP innovation, S / 4
  
  HANA advancements, industry trends, and future‑state architecture patterns.

• Extensive SAP consulting experience with strong cross‑functional understanding across core modules.
• Experience leading architecture or end-to-end solution design on 2+ S / 4
  
  HANA transformation programmes (Greenfield and Brownfield).
• Hands‑on expertise in To-Be architecture definition, process mapping, integration design, and interface specifications.
• Proven delivery experience across major industries such as Manufacturing, CPG, Retail, Defence, or Public Sector.
• Strong understanding of SAP Cloud, RISE with SAP, and modern deployment approaches.
• Strong client‑facing communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders up to CIO / CTO level.
• Knowledge of data migration, analytics, testing strategy, and enterprise architecture concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively, manage complexity, and operate effectively in hybrid delivery models.

• SAP Certification in S / 4
  
  HANA Finance, Logistics, or Architecture.
• TOGAF, ITIL, AWS / Azure Cloud Architecture, or equivalent credentials.
• Experience with enterprise architecture tooling such as ARIS, Signavio, LeanIX, or similar.
