The Salesforce nCino Developer is a key member of our IT team within the SME Lending department. This role is responsible for driving the design, development and delivery of nCino and Salesforce platforms. The Developer will serve as our nCino expert, configuring and customising nCino's managed packages, using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce automation (Flows). By employing best practices in architecture, design, development and deployment, the Developer will support and enhance the Salesforce platform, ensuring the maintenance and improvement of productivity in business processes for SME Lending.
Please note this is a predominantly office‑based role in London, Manchester or Leeds which will require you to come in and collaborate with the team 2‑3 days a week.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities- Utilise expertise in the nCino platform and Salesforce development tools to deliver high‑quality solutions.
- Implement best practices in architecture, design, development and deployment.
- Configure nCino package (e.g., UI Groups, Routes, Screens, and Product configurations).
- Deploy nCino configuration between different environments.
- Create complex Flows, triggers, Lightning Web Components and APEX development to automate and optimise system functionality.
- Use Dev Ops tools and processes.
- Test and implement applications to ensure development quality is maintained.
- Produce technical documentation to outline design and development activity.
- Present technical solutions to IT and Business for sign‑off.
- Debug development issues.
- Design and implement API integrations to connect Salesforce with external systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify integration requirements and implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrate excellent data‑management skills for data accuracy, integrity and security.
- Perform data analysis, cleansing and migration activities as required.
- Develop and maintain data governance processes and policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to end users, resolving issues promptly.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new features.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce and nCino releases, evaluating their impact and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Maintain proficiency in the Salesforce nCino platform and Salesforce development tools.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, problem‑solving abilities, and adaptability to changing business needs.
- Significant experience with the nCino platform and Salesforce development.
- nCino Platform Configuration Certification.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or higher.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer or higher.
