D365 Business Central (BC) Consultant

Duration: 6 months+
Location : remote (potential travel to Sweden)
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Business Central (BC) Technical Consultant to support our projects on a contract basis. The right candidate will have strong technical skills, practical experience with deployments, pipeline configuration, environment troubleshooting, and security setup. This role requires someone who can work independently, communicate clearly, and operate reliably during Central European Time (CET) hours.
Primary Responsibilities BC Technical Support- Understand the structure and setup of BC environments.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve issues across BC systems.
- Plan and manage release schedules for BC development work.
- Oversee deployments across environments, ensuring stability and minimal disruption.
- Build and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines.
- Improve CI / CD workflows to support BC development.
- Diagnose installation, configuration, and component-related issues in BC environments.
- Ensure all systems follow required infrastructure and security standards.
- Create, adjust, and troubleshoot permission sets and security roles within BC.
- Maintain proper access controls according to security policies.
- Track and manage release processes, supporting timely and high-quality delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience with technical aspects of Microsoft Business Central.
- Good understanding of release processes and deployment best practices.
- Proven ability to set up build pipelines and CI / CD processes.
- Experience with BC-related infrastructure and environment setup.
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
Comfortable working independently and collaborating with multiple teams. - Familiarity with Dev Ops tools and methodologies.
- Availability to work in CET hours is required.
