BI Analyst​/Report Writer

We’re transforming the way we use data and reporting — and we’re looking for
two BI Analysts / Report Writers
to help us on that journey.

Reporting to our Innovation Director (and later to our new BI Lead), you’ll be hands-on with SQL and SSRS, building and supporting the reports that drive day-to-day decision-making across the business. This is a chance to join at the ground floor of our BI transformation, with huge opportunities to learn and progress as we move towards KPI-driven dashboards and modern BI tools.

• Writing SQL queries and building SSRS reports for operations, sales, finance, and customer services.
• Supporting a small number of Power BI reports and helping colleagues make sense of data.
• Talking directly to users — from depot staff through to the MD/CEO — to understand their needs and deliver clear, reliable reporting.
• Supporting some customer-facing reporting, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
• Helping us move from legacy reporting towards a more modern, streamlined BI environment.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SSRS.
• Excellent Excel knowledge.
• Confidence working directly with non-technical stakeholders.
• 2+ years’ experience in reporting/analytics roles.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset — comfortable with changing requirements and able to suggest improvements.

• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools.
• Exposure to customer-facing reports.
• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
