M365 Product Engineer
Location:
Hybrid (UK-based – occasional travel to London required)
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000
Full-time, permanent
The client’s IT Infrastructure team is focused on simplifying how employees work, engage, and collaborate by introducing new platforms and services. This role supports the vision of creating a truly digital workplace by leveraging Microsoft 365 services to meet the needs of colleagues across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, One Drive, Intune, and Entra .
- Provide Tier 3 support for M365-related incidents and service requests.
- Monitor system health, usage, and security compliance across the environment.
- Drive adoption of M365 tools and features to enhance collaboration and productivity.
- Support digital transformation initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Manage licensing for Microsoft platforms and services.
- Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and data governance standards.
- Manage identity and access controls, MFA, and device compliance.
- Contribute to infrastructure projects focused on workplace modernisation and security.
- Leverage Power Shell and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to automate workflows and administrative tasks.
- Other duties as directed by line management.
- Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Entra , Azure, Teams, and Intune.
- Experience with Power Shell scripting and M365 security / compliance tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management tools (e.g., Service Now).
- Broad expertise in on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure and security technologies.
- Understanding of cloud governance frameworks, including IAM, encryption, and compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Results-driven self-starter with high levels of initiative, energy, and mobility.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and customer-focused management skills.
- Experience managing supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of working in multi-site environments.
- Experience working in ITIL environments, particularly Change, Incident, and Problem Management.
