Shopify Tech Lead - Up to £55,000 - Hybrid - Leeds

We're looking for an experienced Shopify Tech Lead to join a growing digital team delivering high-performance ecommerce solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll own Shopify projects end-to-end while mentoring developers and frontend best practice.

What You'll Do

• Lead the technical delivery of complex Shopify projects from discovery through to launch

• Architect and build custom Shopify themes and solutions using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML and CSS

• Act as the technical authority on Shopify, providing guidance, code reviews and mentorship

• Collaborate closely with branding, QA and Project Management

• Drive standards, tooling and performance optimisation across projects

What You'll Bring

• Strong commercial experience working with Shopify at a senior or lead level

• Expert knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Shopify APIs and modern frontend development

• Experience mentoring developers or leading Shopify delivery

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical decisions clearly

• Nice to have: Hydrogen/Oxygen, React (Next.js or Remix), Type Script, Tailwind CSS
