Scalers are partnering with a Fin Tech scaleup company in London who are a developer centric organisation building cutting edge software in the Finance space.

We are looking for a Database Engineer with a focus on Postgre

SQL to join our Fin Tech and Payments partner on a contractual basis. Please see below a snapshot of the role.

What we’re looking for from you :

  • Working experience working as a Database Engineer supporting Postgre

    SQL and / or MySQL in a Production Environment.
  • Public cloud experience using Open Stack, GCP or AWS
  • A Dev Ops / automation first mindset, with experience using deployments with Ansible (or similar automation tool for config / admin)
  • Practical Experience of the following using scripting languages or programming frameworks (Python, Bash, Java, etc)
  • System administration and tuning of Linux-based servers
  • Strong working knowledge and experience using code versioning tools like Git.
