What you will do to be successful in this role Product Analytics Leadership- Develop and execute the product analytics strategy, aligning metrics and insights with Civica's business and product objectives.
- Partner with product, design, and engineering leaders to define KPIs for feature adoption, user engagement, and customer success.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights that inform product roadmaps, pricing strategy, and market positioning.
- Champion a culture of experimentation and continuous learning, enabling product teams to test hypotheses and measure impact.
- Collaborate with Product Managers using Aha! to ensure analytics aligns with roadmap priorities and customer value.
- Define and oversee data tracking in collaboration with engineering teams, ensuring reliable event collection across web and mobile products.
- Work hands‑on with SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to analyse large datasets and produce self‑service reporting frameworks.
- Use data from Pendo to measure user engagement, feature adoption, in‑app feedback, and product experience metrics across SaaS products.
- Collaborate with engineering on Git Hub to review tracking specifications, data layer changes, and instrumentation code.
- Apply quantitative methods to identify growth opportunities, measure feature impact, and guide investment decisions.
- Build a view on how and where we could leverage predictive models or machine learning to drive insights in product analytics.
- Automate recurring analyses and dashboards to support both real‑time decision‑making and Exec level visibility.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to define analytics goals that support company OKRs and customer outcomes.
- Coach and mentor teams on using analytics tools, interpreting data, and embedding a data‑first mindset in product development.
- Communicate insights clearly and persuasively to executives, ensuring analytics drives tangible business action.
- Proven experience as a Product Analytics Manager, Senior Product Analyst, or Data Analytics Lead within a SaaS or technology‑driven organisation.
- Data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with Product analytics platforms
- Statistical analysis experience
- Experience integrating analytics tools with Aha! for roadmap insights, Figma for design analytics, and Git Hub for event tracking collaboration.
- Hands‑on experience designing and implementing analytics for web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of how to pull together user segmentation, retention analysis, and funnel optimisation data.
- Ability to balance strategic insight with analytical depth — from building dashboards to influencing executive decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
