Commercial Associate

Sellick Partnership is currently working with an exciting Legal 500 ranked firm, based in Leeds, who is looking for a Commercial Solicitor to join their team.

The Role We are partnering with a national law firm widely recognised as a leading adviser in Commercial, Technology, Outsourcing, and IT to recruit an experienced Associate (3 PQE) for its growing Commercial team. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing practice working on major digital transformation projects and complex commercial transactions, with excellent support, responsibility and progression. About the Team This market-leading Commercial group advises major corporates, technology providers, financial institutions, public sector bodies and professional service firms.

The team handles strategic outsourcing, SaaS and cloud services agreements, software licensing and development, digital transformation projects, and data and emerging technology work. What You'll Be Doing
* Lead on complex commercial and technology transactions
* Draft and negotiate outsourcing, SaaS, licensing and digital contracts
* Develop commercially minded solutions aligned to clients' strategic goals
* Collaborate across corporate, commercial, data protection and regulatory teams
* Build long-term client relationships and support business development
* Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to a collaborative team environment
* Engage in structured training and development to accelerate your progression What We're Looking For
* 3 years' PQE in commercial, technology, outsourcing or IT-related legal work
* Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
* Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills
* Commercial awareness and ability to deliver practical advice
* Collaborative mindset with ability to support junior colleagues
