We’re looking for an experienced Director of Client Services to lead and develop our Client Services function, overseeing a team of around 25 talented professionals. The role requires a commercially driven individual with a strong background in SEO, PPC, and digital marketing who thrives on building client relationships, driving performance, and empowering teams to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop a Client Services team of 25, including six direct reports
- Drive client retention and revenue growth across the portfolio
- Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients, providing strategic direction and commercial insight
- Support and guide direct reports with key client relationships and wider team management
- Act as a trusted escalation point for high-profile pitches and complex client challenges
- Serve as a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), ensuring clear communication and alignment between senior leadership and the wider Client Services function
- Lead input into new business pitches and proposals
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and performance within the team
- Demonstrate strong conflict resolution and client relationship management skills
- Hold overall responsibility for team targets and performance outcomes
- A proven commercial leader with significant experience in digital marketing, ideally with deep knowledge of SEO and PPC
- Demonstrated ability to improve client retention and drive revenue growth
- Confident managing large teams and developing senior client service professionals
- Skilled communicator who can balance strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership
- Adept at managing multiple priorities, with a calm and professional approach to escalation and challenge
- Comfortable operating at a senior level within a fast‑paced, evolving business
- Competitive salary, up to £80,000
