We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembler for a mixed role of Assembly and onsite Fitting at an Industrial Manufacturer based in Leeds.

• Can follow written engineering/technical drawings
• Experience of working with Sheet Metal is advantageous
• Must have experience of using various hand tools, air tools and Rivet Guns
• Site Fitting knowledge would be beneficial
• Experience in site duct work
• CSCS Card holder if possible
• Knowledge of Manual Handling Techniques vital as the role includes heavy lifting

• Basic assembly work
• Drilling, Riveting and operating hand tools
• Site Fitting
• Duct Fitting
• Ad hoc duties where required
• General cleaning and tidying of the workspace area

Working hours:

core 39hrs per week, 7am to 5.15pm Mon to Thurs. Flexibility required for site duties; longer days may be required.

Pay: £13p/hr to £14p/hr depending on experience. Overtime paid at 1.5x after 39hrs. The role is advertised as Temp to Perm for the right candidates.
