Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased)

Continental Shifts - 12 Hour Days & Nights

Our client is a leading FMCG / Manufacturing business and they are looking for an electrically biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support production performance and keep machinery running reliably across the site.

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
• Electrical fault finding on motors, sensors, control panels and automation equipment
• Supporting mechanical repairs when needed
• Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
• Completing inspections, maintenance logs and all relevant documentation
• Assisting with installation and commissioning of new machinery
• Identifying improvements to boost reliability and efficiency

• Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer background
• Experience with in manufacturing (FMCG preferred but not essential)
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills and safe working practices>
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
• Mechanical ability to support wider engineering tasks
• Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds / HNC / HND in Engineering (or equivalent)
• Apprenticeship-trained (desirable)

• PLC fault-finding experience
• Industry certifications
• Forklift licence
