Great opportunity to work as an Extrusion Operative for our client, a Specialist Flexible Packaging Manufacturer. Staffline is recruiting Extrusion Operatives in Leeds
. The rate of pay is £ per hour
.

This is a full-time role working 4 on 4 off, 2 days and 2 nights
. Hours of work are:

• 7am to 7pm
• 7pm to 7am

Applicants must be able to work weekends.

• Supporting the production (Extrusion and Reclaim)/warehouse in their day-to-day duties.
• Ensuring all aspects of Health & Safety, BRC and ISO are fully met.
• Supporting warehouse duties and ancillary support on the extrusion equipment.
• Supporting production in their 'clean as you go' standard in an as and when.
• Performing a number of duties in the warehouse: loading and unloading vehicles, maintaining cleanliness with the floor scrubber, and internal stock movements.
• Training in basic extrusion knowledge so the role can eventually support the production team and succession planning.
• Trained to use the silo blower and resin drier.
• Trained on the core cutter.
• Emptying large bins into external skips.
• Cleaning duties during machine shutdown.
• Helping support the production team with the running of the in-house recycling machine.

• Ability to work both efficiently and effectively alone, and as part of a large and varied team.
• Enthusiastic, committed, and flexible to the demands of a fast‑paced business with significant change.
• Willingness to understand the extrusion manufacturing process and knowledge of Health & Safety, ISO/BRC, and hygiene standards.
• Ideally holds a PPT & Counter Balance licence (training can be provided).
