Position: Supplier Quality Manager (Contract)
Supplier Quality Manager (Interim) - 6 Month Contract

W Talent are looking to recruit an experienced Supplier Quality Manager on behalf of a large manufacturing business based in Otley, North Leeds. This is an interim position offering a 6-month contract with the opportunity to make a significant impact within the business.

Role Overview :

As Supplier Quality Manager, you will be responsible for auditing suppliers, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards, and implementing new supplier quality systems. You will manage product and supplier approvals, working closely with the Purchasing team to maintain and improve supply chain quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough supplier audits to assess quality systems and compliance.

Implement and maintain robust supplier quality management systems.

Manage the approval process for new suppliers and products.

Collaborate closely with Purchasing to ensure supplier performance meets business requirements.

Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues and complaints.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supplier base.

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in supplier quality management within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of supplier auditing and quality compliance standards.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to lead change and implement new systems effectively.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
