Job Overview
We're looking for a Sales Support Assistant to join our SME Sales Team and play a vital role in getting new customers live and trading quickly. This is a fast‑paced, commercially focused role where accuracy, organisation and collaboration directly impact revenue. You'll sit at the heart of the onboarding journey – supporting sales, removing blockers, streamlining processes and making sure clients move from signed to trading without delay.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the SME Sales Team with new client onboarding, ensuring commercials are confirmed and clients are live on our systems
- Maintaining dashboards, trackers and reports to give clear visibility of pipeline, forecasts and trading profiles
- Managing CRM updates including pricebands, credit terms, start dates and client IDs
- Triaging leads via shared inboxes and allocating them efficiently across the business
- Aligning CRM, Power BI and SAP data to ensure accurate reporting and account setup
- Identifying onboarding delays, investigating root causes and escalating where needed
- Working closely with Operations, IT, Finance and third‑party providers to improve service and speed to trade
- Providing Excel‑based analysis and ad‑hoc administrative support across the Sales function
- Experience in a sales support or sales administration role
- Strong Excel skills (Microsoft Office Specialist qualification desirable or in progress)
- A good understanding of e‑commerce and the SME market
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, organised and solution‑focused mindset
- Confidence building relationships and constructively challenging stakeholders
