This role is a relief position that requires an SIA Licensed Relief Security Officer to cover holiday and sickness absences. You will be trained and work at several client premises until a permanent fixed shift pattern can be assigned.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line Licence – essential.
• A valid SIA CCTV Licence – desirable.
• Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Software (e.g., Excel).
• Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle or reliable transport.
• Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular patrols and recording these as per Corps and Customer requirements.
• Ensure all visitors and contractors to the site are correctly briefed, sign in and out.
• Record the entry and exit of deliveries on site, including processing of paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
• Ensure patrols are carried out to the correct standards.
• Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out-of-hours security provision if applicable.
• Comply with site waste management procedures.
• Complete required documents including daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records and any site‑specific reports.
• Familiarise yourself with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and other quality & safety documents; advise Corps Duty Manager and/or client personnel on any changes or recommendations to improve.
• Maintain your training records via the Corps Colleague Portal so your skills remain up to date, including first aid and fire marshal training.
• Continuously apply your SIA skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism; always display your SIA licence.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed.
