Dedicated Support Officer

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property and information safe. That includes:

• Conduct regular internal and external patrols to deter unauthorised access and ensure the safety of premises and personnel.
• Monitor and respond to fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV systems in accordance with site‑specific instructions.
• Manage access control duties including issuing visitor and contractor passes, locking/unlocking procedures and key management.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting staff, visitors and contractors while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanour.
• Ensure health and safety compliance: report hazards, faults and incidents, and keep emergency escape routes clear.
• Prevent loss and waste by identifying and reporting risks of theft, damage or vandalism and securing property during patrols.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents including fire alarm activations and notify the Securitas Operations Centre (SOC) as necessary.

What we’re looking for:

• A valid SIA licence.
• To be available as and when called upon to cover shifts occasionally at short notice.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK with a 5‑year checkable history.
• Strong communication skills in English – both written and spoken.
• A full UK driving licence (desirable).
