About You (Qualifications and Experience)- Programming in one or more of JavaScript, Java, .Net, Python
- Collaboratively designing and building proof of concept or production systems
- Source controlling your code with version control systems (e.g., Git, Mercurial, Perforce)
- Utilising CI/CD tools (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins, Team City, Bitbucket) to streamline delivery
- Continual testing with automated testing frameworks
- Ensuring code quality with static code analysis tools (e.g., Sonar Qube)
- Working in an agile environment (e.g., Scrum, Lean, Kanban)
- Common software design patterns
- Using creativity to solve client challenges
Desirable Experience (we’ll help you with these if not already familiar):
- Machine Learning software (e.g., AWS/Azure ML, Google Tensor Flow)
- Cloud deployment and management (AWS, MS Azure)
- Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Relational, document, or graph database systems
- Software configuration and deployment (e.g., Ansible)
- Collaborate within a team to design and deliver software solutions
- Develop and maintain production-ready code with emphasis on quality and reliability
- Participate in software design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions
- Adhere to security and compliance requirements relevant to national security projects
