Lead Web Developer (React | Type Script | Java | Spring)

Location:

Leeds City Centre – full‑time, hybrid, 4 days a week in office.

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 plus benefits.

• Lead the design and development of full‑stack web applications using React and Type Script on the front end, and Java/Spring on the back end.
• Drive a key front‑end migration project to deliver a cleaner, faster, and more scalable user experience.
• Define and uphold best engineering practices, performing code reviews and ensuring high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level developers, fostering collaboration and growth across the team.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security across all deployed applications.

• 7+ years of commercial full‑stack development experience.
• 2+ years in a senior or technical leadership capacity.
• Strong experience with React, Type Script, Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SQL, and front‑end tooling (Redux, React Query, testing frameworks).
• A passion for clean architecture, reusable code, and exceptional user experience.
