Lead Full Stack Web Developer (Contract) | Leeds City Centre | Hybrid (4 days in office) | £- £ p / d | 3-6 month contract

We are working with a large consultancy that are looking for a lead ful stack web developer with a strong expertise in React and modern web development to join a software provider that operates internationally.

As the Lead Developer, you will be working across the full stack, with a primary focus on React-based front-end applications, while also contributing to back-end architecture and API integration.

• Oversee the design and development of modern full-stack web applications, utilizing React and Type Script on the front end and Java, Spring, and Hibernate on the backend.
• Lead a major migration initiative to transition to a sleeker, higher-performance, and more user-friendly web architecture.
• Shape technical direction and enforce best practices across the team, ensuring high code quality through thorough code reviews, unit testing, and strong development standards.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering skills development and encouraging knowledge sharing.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of all web applications.

• Degree in a computer-related field or equivalent hands‑on commercial experience.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in full‑stack development.
• A minimum of 2 years in a technical leadership or senior developer role.
