Job Brief

The Wellola team believes that the future of healthcare is preventative, community-based and supported by digital tools. Wellola’s software revolutionises the way hospitals & community-based clinics care for their patients and communicate with each other. Our team has unique, in-depth sector know-how, our pricing model is extremely cost-effective and our business model is scalable for national markets.

We are currently seeking a Full-Stack developer to work remotely to help deliver the best in healthcare delivery software to our clients. This is an opportunity to join a growing company with a vision to change the world of healthcare globally. In this role, you will have a massive impact on the future development of Wellola’s platform.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality, scalable, robust clean code
  • Provide input in all areas of the secure development lifecycle.
  • Maintain and improve existing applications.
  • Ensure deliverables are timely and meet highest-quality standards.
  • Meet our Information Security Management System policies and procedures
Essential Skills
  • Knowledge of PHP / Laravel, Vue.js, Flutter (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS
  • Comfortable working with MySQL databases
  • Knowledge of working with third-party APIs
  • Experience with AWS, Bitbucket, Jira, Slack
  • Excellent teamwork ethic.
Desired but not essential
  • Experience working in a scale up environment.
  • Working knowledge of UX design principles.
  • Experience in developing APIs.
  • Experience with FHIR / HL7 integration.
  • Experience developing HIPAA / GDPR compliant software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science related course.
