Affiliate Python​/Django Tech Lead

Looking for an Affiliate Python/Django Tech Lead - 2 days a week in Leedsd.

6 month contract to start in September, up to £650 per day.

Role:
Python (Django) Tech Lead/Lead Dev

• Stabilise and optimise the backend to ensure the platform can handle rapid user growth (needs to be a hands‑on coder).
• Lead design and implementation of scalable cloud architecture (AWS‑based).
• Define and embed engineering best practices (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, testing).
• Lead 2 other developers as part of a tight‑knit team.
• Work closely with CEO/founder, AI Tech Lead and an ANDi Product Manager.

• Strong AWS / cloud infrastructure knowledge (including autoscaling, monitoring, and security).
• Integration/API engineering (Xero or similar SaaS APIs).
• Deep backend engineering expertise, with experience scaling SaaS products desirable.
• Ability to operate hands‑on, in a fast‑paced start‑up environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
