We’re looking for an experienced AWS Developer to join our clients engineering team and help build secure, scalable cloud‑native services. This is a fully remote, permanent position open to candidates based anywhere in the UK with full working rights.

You’ll work across a modern AWS ecosystem, contributing to new feature development, architecture decisions, automation, and performance optimisation.

• Networking & Security : VPC, IAM, Secrets Manager
• APIs & Application Services : API Gateway, App Sync, GraphQL
• Event‑Driven Architecture :
  Event Bridge, SNS, SQS
• Data & Storage :
  Dynamo
  
  DB, S3
• Developer & Deployment Tools : CDK, Amplify
• Monitoring & Observability :
  Cloud Watch
• Authentication :
  Cognito

• Design and develop serverless applications and microservices on AWS
• Build and maintain IaC using AWS CDK
• Develop secure and scalable APIs (REST & Graph
  
  QL)
• Integrate event‑driven workflows via Event Bridge, SNS, and SQS
• Implement cloud‑native authentication and authorisation using Cognito & IAM
• Optimise performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Work closely with engineering, product, and Dev Ops functions
• Ensure best practices in monitoring, logging, and security

• Strong commercial experience with AWS development
• Hands‑on expertise across the listed tech stack
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Type Script, Node.js, Python)
• Experience building serverless and event‑driven architectures
• Strong understanding of IaC (CDK preferred)
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills
• Must be UK‑based with full right to work (no sponsorship available)
