AWS Developer – £65,000 – Fully Remote (UK Only) – January Start

We’re looking for an experienced AWS Developer to join our clients engineering team and help build secure, scalable cloud‑native services. This is a fully remote, permanent position open to candidates based anywhere in the UK with full working rights.
You’ll work across a modern AWS ecosystem, contributing to new feature development, architecture decisions, automation, and performance optimisation.
Tech Stack You’ll Work With- Compute & Serverless :
Lambda, EC2 - Networking & Security : VPC, IAM, Secrets Manager
- APIs & Application Services : API Gateway, App Sync, GraphQL
- Event‑Driven Architecture :
Event Bridge, SNS, SQS - Data & Storage :
Dynamo
DB, S3 - Developer & Deployment Tools : CDK, Amplify
- Monitoring & Observability :
Cloud Watch - Authentication :
Cognito
- Design and develop serverless applications and microservices on AWS
- Build and maintain IaC using AWS CDK
- Develop secure and scalable APIs (REST & Graph
QL) - Integrate event‑driven workflows via Event Bridge, SNS, and SQS
- Implement cloud‑native authentication and authorisation using Cognito & IAM
- Optimise performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Work closely with engineering, product, and Dev Ops functions
- Ensure best practices in monitoring, logging, and security
- Strong commercial experience with AWS development
- Hands‑on expertise across the listed tech stack
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Type Script, Node.js, Python)
- Experience building serverless and event‑driven architectures
- Strong understanding of IaC (CDK preferred)
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills
- Must be UK‑based with full right to work (no sponsorship available)
