This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.

We have a requirement for a Fork Lift Truck/Goods In Operative, ensuring all incoming stock is accurately received and checked, correct information recorded and its safe transportation to the relevant area. Processing orders ready to be put to the picking locations. Any applicant must have experience driving a forklift truck as it is a mandatory requirement.

Monday - Friday,  (37.5 hours per week). Rate of pay: £13.10 per hour.

• Achieving the agreed productivity level.
• Accounting for all incoming stock, ensuring the following procedures are applied.
• Checking out-of-stock lists and prioritising items on receipt.
• Checking product description and pack size is correct.
• Checking product for damage and expiry date.
• Counting product and accurately recording on paperwork.
• Passing completed paperwork to Goods In Office.
• Reporting to Team Leader any other matters or queries.
• Ensuring housekeeping standards for inside and outside bays are always maintained.
• Ensuring all Health & Safety standards are met.
• Ensuring all delivery drivers wait outside for security.
• Carrying out any reasonable requests by branch management.

• Previous forklift truck experience – minimum 2 years.
• High visual accuracy.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and follow internal process in a fast-paced environment.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Basic written communication skills.
• Basic numeracy and literacy.
• Customer care orientation.

Any previous experience working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable.

Manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are essential requirements of this role.
