About the Role:
Giguere Gymnastics in Leicester, MA is looking for an energetic and dependable EEC After School Program Bus Driver/Group Leader to join our team! This unique dual role puts you at the heart of our after school program — keeping kids safe on the road and engaged once they arrive. Shift:
Monday - Friday 2:00-5:00pm
Driving the bus 2:00-3:30pm
Working in the classroom 3:30-5:00pm
School 1/2 days 11:00-5:00pm (varies)
School Vacations off
Responsibilities:
Safely transport students from school to the after school program facility
Supervise and lead a group of school-age children during after school program hours
Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, games, and enrichment programs
Maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment for all participants
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and program staff
Perform daily vehicle inspections and adhere to all transportation safety protocols
Maintain accurate attendance records and incident reports as required
Requirements:
Valid Massachusetts CDL with Passenger and School Bus (S) endorsements preferred
EEC (Early Education and Care) certification or ability to obtain one
Previous experience working with school-age children in a group setting
Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about youth development
