We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Developer – AWS Cloud Full Stack to join our dynamic IBM team. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud‑native applications on AWS, with hands‑on experience delivering secure and scalable solutions for clients in the public sector and defence industries
. This role requires deep technical proficiency in cloud architecture, software engineering best practices, and full‑stack development within highly regulated environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure cloud applications on AWS, tailored to the needs of public sector and defence clients.
• Develop full‑stack applications using modern front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend technologies (Node.js, Java, Python, or similar).
• Architect, implement, and optimize cloud‑native solutions leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, Dynamo
  
  DB, RDS, S3, and Cloud Formation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional IBM teams and client stakeholders to translate complex public sector and defence requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in Dev Ops, CI/CD, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation).
• Apply stringent security, compliance, and governance standards in line with defence and government regulations.
• Optimize application performance, security, and reliability following industry and IBM best practices.
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership in AWS and full‑stack development, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Stay current with emerging AWS technologies, full‑stack frameworks, and cloud architecture trends relevant to public sector and defence applications.
