Overview
Reporting into our Category Manager, the aim of this role is to support the implementation and evolution of the category management function, ensuring best practices are embedded across the business.

Responsibilities- Data Analysis & Reporting:
Organise, analyse, and interpret multiple data sources to generate actionable insights. Prepare regular reports and maintain accurate data management systems. - Market Mapping & Audits:
Conduct audits on promotions, pricing, and space allocation to identify opportunities and drive category growth. - Retailer Partnerships:
Assist in building strong relationships with retail partners, supporting joint business planning and category initiatives, with the opportunity to develop into a customer-facing role over time. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and NPD teams to align category strategies with broader business objectives and influence business direction. - Brand Advocacy:
Act as a champion for our brands, ensuring category recommendations reflect brand positioning and growth ambitions.

Skills:
Strong ability to interpret data and experience with data dashboard build & management. - Team Player:

Comfortable taking initiative and driving improvements. - Organised & Deadline-Oriented:
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timelines. - FMCG
Experience:
Previous experience in the FMCG sector, especially within a category management role. (Desirable) - Technical Expertise:
Familiarity with category systems such as Nielsen, Circana, dunnhumby, Beet, and Kantar, and experience with turning data into insights. (Desirable)
