Senior Building Surveyor

Our client is a well-established and growing multi-disciplined surveying consultancy who are currently seeking a proactive and ambitious Senior Building Surveyor Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Leicester. They deliver a diverse range of exciting projects, including swimming pools, sports halls, clubhouses, residential blocks, prefab structures, Victorian/Georgian and post‑war buildings, as well as modern office spaces.

This consultancy is a trusted partner to academy trusts nationwide, offering services including building surveying, estates strategy planning, energy consultancy, and funding support.

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will play a key role in leading projects from early client engagement through to completion, providing technical oversight and ensuring high standards of delivery. • Salary: £45k - £55k (DOE).

• Leading contract administration and project management duties across refurbishments, planned maintenance and new build schemes.
• Managing multiple education sector projects simultaneously and providing senior level technical oversight.
• Acting as a key client contact for academy trusts, providing strategic estates, asset management and funding advice.
• Preparing reports, specifications and professional documents to a high standard.
• Supporting the growth of the Leicester office through mentoring junior surveyors and contributing to team development.

• Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5 years' experience post degree in a Building Surveying role.
• Familiarity with education sector projects is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent knowledge and competency of building construction, project management, and contract administration.
• Full UK driving license (essential due to travel requirements).
