Senior Structural Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a long-established multi-disciplinary consultancy based near Finchley in North London. Providing Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying and  Project Management services, the practice is known for its collaborative culture, technical excellence, and commitment to professional development. They are now seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the growing team in their Whetstone office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-structured, multidisciplinary team delivering projects across residential, commercial and educational sectors, with construction values reaching up to £25m. You’ll take an influential role in projects ranging from structural inspections and smaller domestic schemes to major refurbishments and new-build developments. With modern, spacious offices and a hybrid working setup, you’ll enjoy both autonomy and support while contributing to a busy and varied project pipeline.

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Structural Engineer with solid design experience, ideally 5+ years post-graduate, and either working toward IStruct

E chartership or recently chartered. You’ll bring strong technical capability, software proficiency and the confidence to manage projects from concept through to completion.

What You Need To Succeed

At least five years’ structural engineering experience across building structures

Strong design skills, with capability to deliver projects independently

Experience working on residential, commercial and educational schemes

Proficiency with structural design software such as Tekla TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, SCIA Engineer or CADS A3D Max

Ability to manage multiple projects, from inspections to multi-million-pound developments

Confident communicator with experience liaising with clients, architects and contractors

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality engineering delivery

Working toward chartership with IStruct

E/ICE or recently chartered

MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
