Salary: £45,000 + benefits

• Asphalt Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of asphalt testing and quality assurance, ensuring all testing meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• You’ll be responsible for supervising site testing, coordinating team activities, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, and acting as a key point of contact for clients.
• Effective resource management and the consistent delivery of high-quality asphalt testing services are critical to this role.

• Oversee daily asphalt testing and quality assurance activities.
• Supervise asphalt site testing and related laboratory work.
• Coordinate team workloads and project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with clients and provide technical support and updates.
• Manage resources to maintain high-quality service delivery.

• Extensive knowledge of asphalt site testing, bituminous laboratory testing, and pavement investigations.
• Excellent understanding of asphalt and asphalt testing methodologies.
• Strong leadership, project management, and team coordination skills.
• Familiarity with H&S and environmental compliance within construction and civil engineering.
• Excellent communication skills for client liaison and report writing.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in materials testing or civil engineering (preferred).
• Previous experience in a similar role within materials testing or civil engineering.
