A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of my clients who are an independently owned mechanical, electrical and environmental design consultancy with a proven reputation in the design-based services expertise to a wide range of clients across all sectors, such as commercial, education, healthcare, heritage, hotel & leisure, residential & retail / hospitality in the construction industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a talented building services technician to their BIM department.

Reporting to the BIM Director and project/business Director, you will be involved in the coordination of both Mechanical and Electrical services across a variety of sectors and jobs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in building services industry modelling, mechanical & electrical services using Revit. There will also be an opportunity for hybrid working for the right-skilled person. Must have excellent communication skills and ability & technically minded.

Responsibility & Duties

* Ability to operate on multiple projects and organise themselves to meet all assigned

* deadlines agreed with the project lead as the Revit MEP Coordinator

* Provide support to the Project Team in the creation and development of 3D models in Revit.

* Run clash detection within Revit/Navisworks and work with the Project Team to resolve

* Clashes as the Revit MEP Coordinator

* Contribution to MEP library of BIM objects as the Revit MEP Coordinator

* Abide by Design MEP drafting procedures in line with ISO standards.

* Abide by project project-specific BIM Execution Plan.

* Ability to use a Common Data Environment such as Viewpoint For Projects.

* Experience of producing working drawing packages and construction Phase BIM

* Information as the Revit MEP Coordinator

Experience & Qualification

* Experience using MagiCAD is desirable as the Revit MEP Coordinator

* Practical knowledge of delivering COBie data is desirable

* Revit MEP, Navisworks and AutoCAD Essential as the Revit MEP Coordinator

* Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience as the Revit MEP Coordinator

* Building Services MEP background or qualifications
