We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a leading civil engineering consultancy. You ll take a key role in delivering projects from small highway improvements to large residential and commercial developments.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will:

• Lead the design of highways, junctions, drainage systems, and civil infrastructure.
• Work from concept through detailed design, including S278, S38, and S104 agreements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, contractors, and statutory bodies.

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with 8+ years  post-graduate experience.
• Strong experience in highway and junction design, drainage strategies, flood risk assessments.
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, 3D modelling, Vehicle Tracking, Flow/Microdrainage.
• Knowledge of DMRB, Manual for Streets, LTN1/20, NRSWA, and adoption processes.
• Excellent communication, time management, and mentoring skills.
• Chartered status (CIHT/ICE/CIWEM) or working towards is desirable.

• Experience with public realm, active travel, cycling infrastructure, major highways, utilities coordination, or site supervision.
• Ability to produce technical reports and fee proposals.
