Senior Asset Service Analyst

We're looking for an experienced investment operations professional to join our expanding Investments division. This is a hands‑on role where you'll manage daily equity dealing operations, drive process improvements, and develop team capability while working closely with fund managers and senior stakeholders. • Efficiently administer dealing on equity portfolios (direct equities and funds)
• Work closely with fund managers to execute dealing instructions and communicate portfolio holdings
• Manage discretionary equity and fund portfolios, including compliance, performance reporting, and benchmark data
• Liaise with platform providers to ensure smooth client portfolio operations
• Delegate tasks effectively, providing training and support to senior and junior team members
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Monitor and report on workload, compliance, and project progress
• Ensure work is completed within service level agreements
• Maintain awareness of the changing financial services environment and adapt processes accordingly
• Coach and mentor colleagues to improve operational performance
• Assist the Head of Investment Operations with team projects and escalated tasks

• Platform securities knowledge and experience – this is critical
• Industry qualifications to minimum Level 3 (CII, CISI, or equivalent)
• Thorough understanding of investment transaction procedures and dealing processes
• Strong numeracy, literacy, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proven experience in equity dealing or investment operations

• Previous leadership experience with coaching and mentoring skills
• Experience with multiple investment platforms
• Background in wealth management or asset management operations
