Accountant, Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant

Due to growth and promotion, a global leading manufacturer has a new vacancy for a Senior Accountant to join the team. Offering excellent career opportunities, you will support the Finance Controller in the preparation and submission of accounts and candidates will have experience working in a fast paced environment.

The Role

Assist in the preparation and submission of monthly accounts, including monthly reviews,

various journal entries and corrections.

Responsible for reconciling balance sheet accounts, ensuring that back up documentation is complete.

Assist in the preparation & submission of accurate and timely VAT returns.

Facilitate and promote financial awareness throughout the Company.

Continually strive to improve and simplify procedures and systems

Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Work closely with Finance Manager & Director the senior management team on process development.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

The Person

Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).

Newly qualified or experienced working in a fast-paced environment or practise.

SOX experience beneficial but not essential.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy
