Trustee Role with Litdrive UK – Volunteer

We are seeking two Trustees for Litdrive

UK, a thriving charity providing professional development to English teachers and tutors in the United Kingdom. We are particularly looking for people with experience in charity finance or the financial sector.

What difference will you make?

This trustee will strengthen Litdrive’s financial governance, support informed decision‑making and help ensure the charity’s long‑term sustainability. Their expertise will enable the board to plan confidently, manage risk effectively and ensure that Litdrive can continue to support English teachers with high‑quality, accessible professional development.

• Has strong experience in finance or charity finance (essential)
• Understands financial oversight, budgeting and risk
• Can provide constructive challenge and sound judgement
• Is collaborative, thoughtful and committed to good governance
• Does not need experience in education, but shares Litdrive’s values

Litdrive is governed by a board of seven trustees with expertise across education, leadership and governance. As the charity develops, strengthening financial oversight is a key priority. We are seeking a trustee with finance or charity finance experience to support budgeting, financial scrutiny and long‑term sustainability. The role includes membership of a finance subcommittee and offers a timely opportunity to shape the future impact of a values‑led education charity.
