Finance Manager – 12 month FTC

Next is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the Finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role is based in our London office and involves overseeing the implementation of Oracle for our Cash Accounting function, delivering strong controls around reconciliation, transactional management, VAT and accounting, and driving efficiency and process improvements.

• Oversee the Oracle cash accounting implementation project, ensuring strict planning and organisation to meet deadlines.
• Provide expert advice on reconciliation, VAT, accounting controls and systems improvements.
• Act as the facilitator between third‑party payment providers, internal technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Deliver key management information and control reporting as part of the Oracle project.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support business growth through effective governance.

• A qualified accountant with strong operational finance experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as a finance manager in a large, fast‑paced organisation.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects, prioritising multiple work streams and meeting strict deadlines.
• Experience of implementing Oracle is desirable.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and decision‑making skills.
