Exchequer Services Assistant
Type: 3 to 6 Month Contract
Salary: PAYE: £13 to £15 per hour or LTD / Umbrella: £16.50 to £18 per hour
Hybrid:
Ideally 1 to 2 days per week in the office

Sellick Partnership is partnering with a local authority organisation in Leicestershire to recruit an Exchequer Services Assistant on a temp contract.

The responsibilities of the Exchequer Services Assistant will include:

Providing transactional finance support across income processing, payments, payroll support and reconciliations
Allocating and reconciling income accurately across multiple systems and accounts
Supporting routine and month-end reconciliations, including bank, payroll and creditor control accounts
Assisting with the administration of debtor accounts and supplier payment processes
Supporting the use and maintenance of finance and e-purchasing systems
Handling finance related queries from internal and external stakeholders
Offering flexible support across the finance team during busy periods.

The ideal candidate for the Exchequer Services Assistant role will have:

A background in transactional finance, income, payments or exchequer services
Experience working with financial systems and strong Excel capability
Exposure to reconciliations, income allocation or supplier payments
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
A collaborative approach and the ability to work well within a team environment.
