Leicestershire County are looking for carers who want to help their clients live life to the fullest. Carers must live in Leicestershire (not Leicester City).

As a Shared Lives Carer, you will provide long‑term and short‑break social care placements in your own home to support people from the age of 18 with learning disabilities, mental health, autism, Asperger’s, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, or living with dementia. You will also support older people or those with lifelong disabilities who need personal care in a homely environment.

You are self‑employed, receive referrals from the council which you may accept or decline, and can look after a maximum of three clients at a time. You’ll work from your own home, choose your own hours, and receive generous income tax incentives.
