Digital Insight Officer

About the role

Are you obsessed with data? Are you an expert in GA4 and GTM?? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a data analytics professional to join us on a nine-month maternity cover contract. You will provide timely, useful and clear insights and recommendations to colleagues across the University to support a range of student recruitment, research, and reputation management objectives.

You will join a team comprising of expertise in front and back end web development, UX/UI design, content creation and maintenance, and CMS administration.

• Manage and maintain Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) for the University's primary website, ;
• Create and maintain a series of dashboards using Looker Studio;
• Provide data‑related support and guidance to non‑technical colleagues;
• Be a primary point of contact for third‑party digital marketing agencies.

You will possess strong technical expertise and a passion for turning data into meaningful insights.

You will have:

• Proven expertise using GA4 and GTM;
• Experience building dashboards using Looker Studio;
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex data for a range of audiences.

Experience with in higher education, or a large complex organisation, is desirable, but not essential.
