First Line IT Helpdesk Support Technician
Location:
c £28,000 / per annum, D.O.E
Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an established and growing organisation in their search for a 1 st Line IT Helpdesk Support Technician to join their IT support team.
This role offers a salary of up to c £28,000 per annum depending on experience, alongside an excellent benefits package including hybrid working, a 10% non-contributory pension scheme, 33 days holiday including bank holidays (rising to 34 days after 5 years’ service), life assurance, and free onsite parking. - Provide first-line IT support via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues
- Log, prioritise, and manage incidents and service requests in line with SLAs
- Set up and configure user devices including laptops, desktops, and peripherals
- Escalate complex technical issues to Level 2/3 support teams when required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic understanding of hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and common business applications
- Well organised with strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability
- Previous helpdesk or IT support experience (desirable)
