Shunter Driver - part time position

Pepsi Co is looking for an SRDC Shunter Driver to join our Walkers site in SRDC-Leicester. This is a part-time position, working 21 hours/week.

A SRDC potato shunter is a vital role in the manufacturing process. The role ensures a smooth flow of trailers on and off the intake bays to manufacturing. Using the SRDC shunt units, the role requires traveling a short distance to other Pepsi Co sites to collect and drop off trailers.

Salary: £18,350.19

Working Hours:

Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Alternating days and nights. 12 hour shifts.

• Ensure KPIs are delivered.
• Ensure that all standards – safety, hygiene, service and productivity KPIs – are being maintained.
• Support the safety programme through the Near Miss programme.
• Ensuring punctual trailer flow on and off the potato intake bays.
• Able to identify service risks and act accordingly.

• HGV1 licence (due to H&S/legal requirements for driving on the external road)
