Part Time Afternoon Cleaner
Equans UK & Ireland is looking for a Part Time Afternoon Cleaner to join our team at Leicester Crown and County Court, LE1 6HG
on a permanent basis. The role involves 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 13:00 to 15:00, with an hourly rate of £12.40.
As the on‑site cleaner you’ll keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety. You will maintain a professional manner with all members of staff and the general public.
BPSS and DBS RequirementsFor this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting, which includes DBS clearance. The following checks are part of the BPSS process:
- Identity Verification: passport, photo , birth certificate, etc.
- Employment History (past 3 years): any gaps require HMRC statements.
- Right to work in the UK: citizenship or valid share code.
- Unspent criminal record disclosure of convictions.
- Significant periods abroad: any 6+ months in the past 3 years.
- Paid annual leave (including public holidays)

- Experience as a cleaner
- At least one year of experience in a customer‑focused environment
- Current DBS (ideally within 12 months)
- Ability to acquire BPSS vetting
