About the Role

Joining Ipsum as a Drainage Trainee you will need a full driving license and a keenness to learn new skills in a fast paced and reactive environment. A mentality of working safely is pivotal, as is the ability to quickly pick up new skills.

Working alongside our crews in environments where training will be given as well as working as part of a 2 person team in delivering work on low complexity schemes and work types.

This is a full-time permanent role based from our Leicester Office.

As a Drainage Trainee you will…
  • Work closely with associated Technicians & Engineers, ensuring all aspects of work are completed on site.
  • Contribute towards producing high quality results, reports and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment.
  • Ensure Company policies are always adhered to.
  • Ensure all site related incidents are reported.
  • Contribute and react swiftly to resolve problems before they elevate.
  • Always establish good relationships and communication and resolve issues and early resolution of any potential problems.
  • Be flexible – we operate 24/7 so there will be early starts, weekend working and out-of-hours working across the UK.
About You
  • Experience in any industry delivering tasks to a high standard.
  • Customer focused with a good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety.
  • IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office package.
  • Full Clean Driving Licence.
