Due to growth, we are looking for Lining Engineers to join our growing teams in the Midlands! At Ipsum, our vision is to be the leading customer service-focused provider of specialist utility and infrastructure solutions, operating on both public and private networks.

As a Lining Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving drainage systems, ensuring the efficient operation of essential services for our communities. This is a full-time permanent role with the opportunity to grow and develop your career.

• Carrying out patching work on drainage systems using RSM Sewertronics UV system.
• Assessing pipe conditions and analyzing results to determine appropriate repair methods.
• Producing high-quality reports detailing work carried out and recommendations.
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Liaising with clients and internal teams to coordinate work schedules and requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Performing routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.

This role is suitable for a self-motivated individual with a full UK driving licence and certifications in high-pressure jetting and confined space entry. You will be a problem solver with fantastic attention to detail and be able to work as part of a team. Some weekend and night work with flexible shifts is possible. Experience in Utilities or Drainage is preferred, with a full UK driving licence and self-motivation.

Ideally you would have experience in working on a patching rig, using a lining kit and cutting equipment. NRSWA Streetworks is required, along with cards such as Water Hygiene and Banks person training. Candidates eager to learn will also be considered.
